Steps by Step Guide to Restarting A Oil Furnace:
Step One: Set thermostat 5 degrees higher than house temperature.
Step Two: Put the red switch to ON
Step Three: Check if the furnace is a single line or two line, if it is single you will have to bleed it.
Step Four: Gather tools such as, pads or paper towels, quarter inch hose, container, and wrench. Place pads or paper towels to prevent leaks.
Step Five: If the furnace is a two line, hit the rest button and then place the hose at the vow for the line to bleed.
Step Six: Take the wrench and crack open till the oil comes out.
Step Seven: Hit the red reset button to start and let it be a steady stream of oil.
Step Eight: Close the bleeding vow to fire up.
*Reset buttons can have safety features, if it locks out hold for 60 seconds. *
