So basically i used serial keys from websites to upgrade my windows 7 editioin from starter to home prenium and now windows doesnt allow me to use all the features because the serial keys are obviously non genuine. So how to bring windows 7 back to my original edition with my original serial key without losing any data? I use an Acer Aspire laptop and it stores a lot of important files.

My aunt's acer aspire had an issue so we followed your video and was very helpful. My only concern was it takes forever for the system to install. I know it is only a 1G (it was really slow), but when it reached 49/49 (program or system installed) it never left the page . It was just showing that it was still installing ( for almost 2 hours). She did turn it off because she could not wait anymore. She was just visiting town and she will come back tomorrow for the last time. Please help.

I have tried everything, restart shift key, the options are only to reset USER or ADMINISTER Reset for forgotten passwords. It will not take me to a complete Reset everything will be erased.. I want everything erased and Start new.

Fast forward to 2023. I haven't used my 2010 Acer in about six to 12 months. It won't take my password. I've restarted in Windows normally, safe mode, and then it did the repairs. I'm not a computer technology person so I'm thinking I can't start it because Windows 7 is now obsolete. Have a feeling I'm going to have to transfer everything over onto a flash drive if in fact I can do that, and then I have to bring it somewhere to install a more recent version of Windows software. I hope somebody can tell me what to do with this other than my own guessing game.

Mine just keeps going to the acer introduction screen when you power it on and will not go anywhere else. I use F2 to reboot but it doesn't work. It just keeps repeating the process of going back to the intro screen no matter what I do. Help?
