I'm glad there's guys like yourself that actually read and follow instructions, and share it to the world. I've been struggling with this exact weedwacker for a year, taking the head apart and stringing it by hand. Thankfully you were the top search result on google for how to restring a Craftsman weed eater. Thanks for the video man!

For the last 18 months I've not let the lawn crew edge or use a weed eater in my back yard. kzbin.infoUgkx_rBCFuDW1zD6blTGhLkvAkxU657uR_lG I didn't like the fact that they just kept cutting the edge of the lawn further and further from the rock lining the flower beds and leaving bare ground. And the grass was trimmed or scalped several feet around trees, etc. It was a constant battle with them so I told them to just mow and no trimming. I have Zoysia grass so it grows pretty slow. Obviously after a while it could use some trimming. I'm in my 80's so I can't do much of it myself.Finally I decided that if I could find a lightweight battery powered trimmer I might be able to do some light trimming. I decided to buy the LST201 20V trimmer. And it works great for my needs. I have back yard with about 150' of flower beds and several trees to be trimmed. I can lightly trim the whole yard with a single charge! The grass I trimmed was only a few inches high but the trimmer was more powerful than I expected.

Hmmm. I have exactly the same Craftsman Wacker, but I'll be DARNED if I can rotate the red knob CLOCKWISE. (it WILL, however, rotate COUNTER clockwise all day long.) Grrrr. 😂 I actually watched a few different videos where everyone was SHOWING themselves twisting C.W., but your video was the first one who came right out and SAID to rotate C.W. to load. Sighhhh. Back out to the garage... Peace and Love everyone! -Papa

I absolutely HATE this weed eater head!! why do they make things larger than my hands there are no ways that I can find except for screwdrivers that I get to open up the head to even try to get the string in it and I'm a professional landscaper 🙄 The weed eater head is different from yours Mine is older n larger with 2 clips on the side I've worked with a lot of weed eatersduring my career and I've never figured out how to work this one yet and I can't find the specs
@connectingdots35742 жыл бұрын
I saw the title and assumed it would be just that. A minute video about how to restring. Seems like a lot of the intro didn't even apply and wasn't necessary. Folks love when the fluff and KZbinr crap is cut and you just get down to business. Everything you said previously to showing how to restring would be perfect for the description box. No wasted time and much more professional.

A little critical man. It is just a 4 minute video about a weed wacker. I assume you know how to work the slider that allows you to skip to any part of the video yea?
