As a stylist working on my own I do tend to cater to my clients. I text them before and after appointments to confirm and then to thank them and ask how they are enjoying true hair. I find this is good for keeping the personal touch. I will be calling them by name much more now lol

+Melissa Culpepper great idea for a video, I have added it to my list! Off the top of my head though! You want to kind of gage their openness to new things. Some people love you because they can rely on you to be consistent every time. If you have clients like that it’s great. But you can always doing something to keep their visits to exciting even though you aren’t giving them a makeover evertime! For example I had a client to was always just such a pleasure every time she came in. I felt I like wasn’t doing enough for her because she was the least difficult client ever! You know how you always have to spend more energy on the picky ones? Lol she didn’t really want any changes to what we were doing so what I did was give her a free product of her favorite conditioner and told her how much I appreciate her. And how I always leave our appointments happy and think that’s not fair! I’m supposed to be working! Lol and just thanked her and she was so happy! That little thing broke the pattern of our appointments even though we weren’t always changing it up!
