i got wiped because by coop member did smthn, idek what it was, cause he blocked me. Hypixel support didn't care, and frankly it was the best thing to happen to me for a while. I'm glad my 2b nw got wiped. Im glad my skill average 43 got wiped. I can finally move on, and grind halo, terraria, and wyyncraft, ty for the video if i ever want to start again, but i dont think i will.

@@stayfade Apologies, just saw this now, sorry for probably being to late. I played for like a month, and then kinda got bored. (I'm aware a month probably wasn't enough time to "get into it", but still, I stopped playing around a month or 2 after starting.)

Really Nice video, I expected you having way more subscribers, keep it up! I started playing 1st time June, if I knew ironman existed, I would have played in that mode. But in my normal profile I try to grind for most things ironman style

Personally, I think it would be the best to play a normal profile but set yourself some limits, like not buying armor and weapons… With that you can skip some tedious tasks that burn you out and focus on grinding the fun things

That’s exactly what I’ve been doing as I’ve started playing the game, and it feels so good knowing I grinded for everything I have instead of just buying it from someone else! The only problem is that people judge me for not buying stuff from the ah or for not playing Ironman, but since I simply do not care it’s not that big a problem

mining 20h vs getting necron for 20h doesnt work at all you would have to mine for like 3h to get full legion 5 mythic necron while you would have to grind days or maybe even weeks to get full necron depending on your luck..

Imo it’s best to play a normal profile, but play it for like 75% as if it’s an ironman. Just buying some items that are a real pain to grind on Ironman can keep your progression going and you still get the satisfaction of doing most of the grinds yourself

I havent played for 2 years and i logged back on the other day to see my nether wart farm had gone my progress had been wiped my armour had gone and i have no clue what to do. i have contacted support and ive been awaiting a reply for 6 days, if i was you what would you do?

I haven't played Skyblock since April 2022 after (I believe) I got my profiles ratted by a AH flipping mod. I think my account survived, though, and the option of return had always been there. I've been staying away so that I don't get addicted again because I really was addicted in the final 3 months of my playthrough. So I'm definitely your target viewer of this video, and I'd like to say I absolutely needed this video. Personal life has made me contemplate whether I would like to come back, and with the points mentioned in this video, I actually might! So thank you. I would disagree, though, on the matter of playing Ironman over Normal. For me, the grind for good RNG was what made me desperate the last time I played, and I simply do not have the amount of time nowadays to dedicate myself to another 2,000 hours of grinding. Not to mention I've learned from my mistakes of falling into the addiction trap, especially on the matter of earning money. So, I would say the better option is to trust in my temperance and not rely on the AH to buy everything all the time. Not pretty, low chance of success, but if I do come back, that would be how I'll play. I think this would best align with your point of experiencing most aspects of the game without it becoming an ultra-grindy mess. From personal experience, the latter will be what makes many quit and wary of returning.

I completely agree with your point that Ironman can become a grindy mess, and normal is definitely better if you have the temperance to avoid using the AH for everything. When I last played a normal profile, it began all right, with me grinding for the most part but buying some of the 'harder' things like an AOTD and armor. As progression went on, however, I eventually found myself using the AH to buy pretty much everything, and skipping the progression in doing so. I was even selling every drop I got while doing dungeons, instead of using them to improve my setup. That's how I eventually decided to play an ironman profile, to sort of force myself to not use the auction house. Sure, some of the more disgusting grinds like divan's alloy and judgement core will be... disgusting... but I believe the satisfaction of working hard towards every item I get makes the tough aspects of the gamemode worth it.

@@Rebelinoo After the events that made me lose my profile last time, as well as taking a break for so long, I’ve learned a lot and I think it’ll help me make my gaming experience a lot more enjoyable. Part of my plan is to enjoy the grind itself, because the temptation of buying stuff like a Hyperion or Terminator was what drove me into money-making madness and subsequently the incident that made me lose my profile. But still, I wish to have that flexibility, because I have a very bad history with RNG in Skyblock and Gaming in general. I guess the idea is that I’ll keep grinding the items I want until my passive income earns me enough money to buy them… Which is unrealistic for stuff like terminator so I’m basically playing Ironman for those gear. 😂

What damage changes have they done? My highest crit before i stopped playing for a year was 1.7m now i do only ~100k ish with the same gear. What happened?

Years ago they did something to strength, but 1.7m to 100k doesnt sound right. Oh yeah, and check your accessories. If you didnt talk to the thaumaturgist yet, try that.

You are basically isolated from the economy, no auction house, no bazaar, no trading. it basically forces you to try out parts of the game that you wouldn't otherwise touch. sooooooo fun if you have the free time
