Wonderful lesson. I am a paraplegic and fell while transferring myself to my bed but could not get back into my chair. This truly helps me to know where to put my feet and the way to lift my body.

Thank you so much, Seth, for showing us your technique. I hope I won't need to use this knowledge, but I appreciate tremendously your sharing it.

PERFECTO - I am immobilized due to spinous - thus I have to ALWAYS look at my feet as NOT to cross them when walking in the kitchen with a large table to NOT lose my balance and trip/fall from looking to fast - this video was well done.

Great presentation. The removing cushions is a great idea for those higher level pieces of furniture. Also I think I saw an FES bike in the background (Awesome)

Excellent. You have the right ideas, but we need to do more. Seth is a big handsome guy, upper body strength to burn. But …what caused the tip over? By the time all that happened, he or she might be too weak to complete the tasks of getting the chair up, and getting in the futon. The problem is lack of design. kzbin.infoxAhrrO7aQzY?si=cS-c5MXRuUcoWtAm Furniture could be assistive. We have to do things on our own. Help is not on the way. We have to create it. Where we see things, it’s cost prohibitive. Medical deduction, yes, but need to wait to see the benefit. Can make it better using our own shared knowledge. Buy select hardwood, use carriage bolts, pvc pipe, devise a trapeze grip. The standing thing can look like a floor lamp, or a plant stand, but it’s an SOS pole. Go in with somebody for the parts. At the least, make more than one, many people need it. We ain’t in kindy-garden with design. Dark Ages. Theres startup money with the Biden Plan, no excuses now.
