Played tennis for a couple years and started with padel a few months ago - this channel is the best one i have found so far. Great explanation and the videos are well filmed and all the effects with the different colors and stuff also help. Keep up the great work!

Would love to see this for someone who's a lefty, we get those serves to our backhand, not forehand. I struggle with them a lot most of it is probably positioning and preparation as I'm new to the game, but still.

Yes it will probably be a lot to do with early preparation!

Instead of flat backhand, try returning with open racket and add slice to your return. Should help :)

@@henril.4067 yeah its what im trying, but its tricky for me on backhand, i usually play right side and im right handed, but if i play on left for some reason its tough haha

@@1nnerconflict Review your starting position, are you to close to the glass or too far forward when returning from the left. it is also sometimes just muscle memory. I played 2 years on the right before moving to the left because of partner change. I had some coaching after the switch to get used to playing left and i looked at videos like this and of footage of ale galans position when returning. It helped me a lot, and playing against many different people, too play against different serves.

@@peterlundjensen3229 im around half a meter behind the line, and almost in the middle of the left box, slightly towards the glass, incase of a different serve, i guess im just not used to it, if i play more left side i will be better at it, i just like right more so for now i only swap if my partner needs the right side

@@henril.4067Tends to fly up to much for me when doing that and I get instantly punished. Just switched to the left like the poster above mentioned. And I honestly felt right at home apart from returning those serves. My backhand is 100% better then my partners but the serve return backhand most definetly is not. Like the other dude said I am blaming it on muscle memory. Im also just trying and switching between hits to much which does not help my consistency in a new position. Its just to much in my head after my 1st 2 matches, overthinking (Hence why im here)

Great video:) depending on where the server is standing in the service area/the angle of the ball - are there some serves that won't reach all the way after the glass to where you are standing in the video, so you will have to step closer? (ball will sneak past you along the glass)

Nice video. I'm thinking of buying a ball machine myself. I tried one a few weeks ago and I quite liked working with it. After the training I saw the machine does take of a lot of felt from the balls. On the place where you stood the court was covered with yellow "hair". Do you have the same experience with the slinger? It's getting quite expensive if you have to buy balls more often on top of the price you pay for the machine..

It is the Padel version, so if I’m not mistaken it has slice (where the other does not) and it’s adapted to the smaller court.
