You are amazing!!! Simple, no long drawn out monotone talking! You keep it straight to the point.Wonderful tips on what to look for when shopping for used furniture. I want to find all of your videos.I like the fact you speed up the repetitive steps. Some videos I skip because I was just bored into a deep sleep! Nail by nail is described! No need....Just show me! Fun fact: rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle wipe with white wash clothe will keep that fabric looking brand new every time. Never use water it will leave water stains

I have the same fabric on my sofa and loveseat. It's the same color, as well. I use Shout and a white washcloth. It's kept my set looking like brand new for the past 4yrs and I work and sleep on my loveseat! Lol.

Veronica M : I agree. 👍🏽 I went to F.I.T. in NYC & the zipper idea is GENIUS. Never heard that tip b4.👏🏾 Buying a new zipper will drive U nuts! Never buy cheap. Buy good quality at the best price U can afford. Quality lasts. 💜

👏 I probably will make one side wider to be a flap over the zipper so you can't see zipper or underlying floral fabric.

I've done a lot of upholstery over the years and If you need some prodding to watch this 3 part series on how to diy an upholstered love seat......I'd consider this installment a Master Class of how to Git er Done. Fantastic Job Queenie. From the instructions, personal comments to the final product! You, ma'am....are an excellent teacher. God Bless.

Lots to love about all 3 parts: the fact that you paid attention to detail and explained everything; the pets allowed in the shots especially the cat, you allowed him to sniff around (in part 2) and made us happy; not bothered about the music, it could be distracting....Thanks for taking the time to share with us❤

2 years later...Thank you Ms. Queenie, I am invigorated to give this a try! You are quite the pro with this, me, not so much. I have a sewing machine, but had trouble getting it to work years ago, and just gave up. Time to try again. Thanks again sweety!

Love this zipper short cut! Awesome. I am definitely going to reupholster my couch. I did my kitchen chairs. Bought them at Salvation Army for $1 ea. so it was a very cheap and worthwhile investment. I am inspired! Thank you.

I must first say "well done!" These videos really encouraged me to try my hand at reupholstering my own furniture. I am not a sewer at all but just like I found your channel I should be able to find a channel and learn how to sew a simple box shape. Thanks for your very concise explanations. I am in the process of upholstering my couch and love seat that looks just like your "flower" set. I enjoyed your video and your teaching methods. I loved the idea of you removing the skirt to an modern look. I will be removing the skirts from my chairs as well. Great job and I love it.

Love your accent and the time you put into making this for us. I was just looking for how to quickly recover an armchair seat cushion and add a little batting to make it a little more firm for a chair I got for $15 and your video popped up. Didn't really show me what I wanted but I was drawn in by your accent and watched all 3 videos. Thank you!

Just found your videos after searching as my sister has asked me to help her recover a sofa - neither of us have done it before but I am quite handy. Hey, a few years ago I did something very similar, got some fabric for curtains long enough to revamp my two seat couch and it costed me only about 100 dollars in total.

OMG THE ZIPPER SHORTCUT!! lol, i am reupholstering a sectional we got and I spent SOO much time learning to sew a zipper and then actually doing the sewing of the zippers on already 3 cushions (This is a HUGE 4 piece sectional I'm tackling by myself!) so now with the rest of the cushions I can do this instead! THANK YOU SO MUCH AND I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!

You're so right, the cushion covers is what I was freaking out about, and sewing too. My mother was a Fab seemstress; I can sew too but not anything like her. Haven't used my machine since my son was a baby (long time). I know I can do it just needed motivation which you gave me. Thanks so much. And Queenii you did a fantastic job. Loved watching your video. I've always wanted to try something like this but was intimidated. I don't sew and I thought you had to sew everything. I always tell my children that when you learn to do things yourself; it empowers you. You explained the steps very well and I thank you for that.

This is the second time I have watched all three, I have an antique chair I want to recover and have always been afraid to try. You have given me the courage to give it a go. I ordered some tools and got out the sewing machine. I too do not like zippers and like your zipper idea. Just researching to make sure I got it all covered. I'm moving into my first apartment soon and a lot of people are giving me furniture they are getting rid of. So thankful, but none of it is exactly what I want. I now have a floral loveseat of my own that I am thinking of reupholstering! Your videos are legit the most helpful!

I have been upholstering for thirty years , you did a very good job and I liked your idea with zippers. Although putting in a zipper is second nature for me. My Mother had me sewing at age five. I can sew anything.lol, very nice video. I am a poet and writer by trade but still love to upholster and sew.
