Thank you for posting! We've done our set of dining room chairs twice and always struggled with the corners. I think your instructions will help us to do a better job. I'm ready to graduate from my manual staple gun to a compressed air tool like yours. Which model gun to you have and what size staples are you using? Also, we'd like to consider something more environmentally friendly than traditional foam. Latex is good but too bouncy. Any suggestions?

Thank you so much for watching! The gun in the video was a Porter Cable brand that does 3/8" crown. There are many options out there and you just need to purchase the appropriate size staple for the gun. For an environmental option, you can use the thick cotton batting for upholstery and definitely less bouncy than latex. Hope this helps!

Is there a video about cutting the foam to fit?

When you cut the foam, make sure to trace it out slightly bigger than your base so the foam goes over the edge when upholstered. It is best to use a serrated bread knife or electric knife (like a turkey carver) to cut it out. Hope this helps.

How thick should the cushion be? I am seeing everything from 1 to 3 inches thick.

It really depends on your preference. I use 1.5" or 2".
