My daughter works in a bar, I could probably get the old grounds fri\om her. The deodoraiser for shoes is a brilliant tip since I have a teen age boy and their feet STINK, not to mention their rooms. Thanks for another great video Pats
@MadameMinima4 жыл бұрын
Oh, I am sure you could get some there. But just make sure if you want to use it that way to dry the grounds, otherwise, you risk to have a mess afterwards. 🥴

@bhavanarao66023 жыл бұрын

@@liamc-rb9tz That's awesome! Hubby and I have been recently looking to buy a house (an old cottage) in Ireland. I have found 3 that I really like, but I am still hesitant. It's a great step to leave everything behind and to move countries. We would love to start to live more simply and most of all self-sufficient.

@@MadameMinima yes it's a huge decision to make, hope you'll be happy if ye decide to move here, whereabout are the houses ye are looking at. I live in Co, Kerry, 🖐️🖐️🖐️😁

@@liamc-rb9tz Sorry I must have missed your reply. So there are only 2 left, one is in Bruree and the other one is in Derrinkeher. It's rather hard to find what we are looking for.

Starbucks package their grounds and people can pick them up free. (Or at least, they used to) I sprinkle all my coffee grounds on my plants outside. Roses love them. I also compost all the veggie/fruit waste like peals, pits, seeds, and also paper & leaves compost very well.
@MadameMinima4 жыл бұрын
SUPER! 👍 Yes, it's good that you mentioned the paper for the compost. Always put browns between the greens!!!!
@LavendarSheep4 жыл бұрын
Brilliant, Patz! I will most definitely try a couple of those, at least. We're big coffee drinkers at home and it always seems like such a waste to just throw that out.

hi, do I need to put the used coffee ground in the oven to dry? or I can use them straight out of a moka pot when I'm done?
@MadameMinima3 жыл бұрын
If you want to keep them for a longer time, it would be preferable to dry them first to avoid mold.

No need to drink yourself coffee in order to benefit from the good uses, because I am team tea, so I don't drink coffee either. Simply go to a bakery or a starbuckish coffee shop and ask for their used coffee grounds. They are happy if you take some 🤗
@rachelamundsen82653 жыл бұрын
Should not be used as a face scrub. No! Too coarse! Bad advice. Don’t do it please. You do micro-trauma to your own skin.
@MadameMinima3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your feedback. But I hope you don't mind if I do not agree. I am now 52 years old and I have been using it for years now and my skin has never been smoother. I wish I had known this when I was a teenager with pimples.
