Passed my test yesterday first time, with 3 minors. Still can't quite get over it. I don't think I'd have been able to do it without your videos; they helped me feel prepared and ready for the test. I'm still not the best at parking, so definitely gonna keep coming back to your videos!

I front bay parked in between two cars last week after passing my test a couple weeks ago. I was never taught this during any of my lessons. This really helped with solidifying my driving skills. Thank you Aman.

Aah brave student, I know exactly how she's feeling during this. In this phase you have literally NO idea what your doing, just listening to the teacher perfectly. Personally I think it is really helpful to let a student try it by themself, not correcting halfway. So then she/ we as students can see the result of our steering, instead of being told ''quicker'' or ''steer to the left'' etc. For sure she needs to be talked through the first times but I just recognised the look of the eyes hihi! BTW I passed my test this week in the netherlands, so I just learned from all your video's mirrored because we drive on the right hihi!! Keep up with the good video's, they are really helpful!! X

Hey thank you for your feedback. This was Erin’s first attempt at bay parking, so at first she just needs to get the hang of steering and I know it’s hard to gauge where the car is but that comes with practice. I personally feel if she’s left to try fixing it on her own, inthe early stages that can be more damaging, as she may end up getting confused/ flustered and that can be discouraging. By the end she’s able to do the manoeuvre on her own. In another session or two Erin will be a lot more comfortable at actually adjusting the position of the car Glad the videos have been helpful :) Thank you for watching

This is one of the few instances thank god power steering was invented in our later generation, we own a 1997 vehicle and my goodness, doing finicky precise maneuvers at parking is always a challenge as you will have to battle that steering all the time at turning.

What is it with references. I'm so glad my instructor taught me how to use my judgement. and spatial awareness, it is much easier to make continuous adjustments that way.

Reference will just make you go OC, with time you will get the "feel" in estimating you position and distance at parking, its not something many can get in just a year or so.

May I ask, why do you want to see it? I genuinely want to know as many ask instructors on youtube from time to time. When a manual car is demonstrated in a video, I would think it's easier to imagine what you'd do without the clutch in an automatic. Or am I wrong for thinking this.

Just remember when you are parking up next to a Smart for two, that they may be parked more forwards then you can, As they only have a short bonnet, if they are parked in forwards, so if they have pulled in, up to the back of their parking bay, you can’t park level with the driver’s seat, or if they have reversed in, to the back of the parking bay, the driver’s seat will be level with your rear passenger window, So using the drivers seat in a Smart for two as a reference, isn’t a good idea, Also when looking for a parking bay to reverse into, it’s a good idea to reverse into a parking bay that you have just passed, to make sure that there isn’t a Smart Car already parked there, There’s nothing worse than trying to reverse into a parking bay, where there is already a Smart Car parked in it, The best tip for any learner driver is to not pick a parking space next to this type of Smart car, Until you are used to knowing how far forward/backwards you need to be with your own car, to be completely in your own parking bay, 🇬🇧😎👍🏼

Wow...mechanical moves...Please stop giving her instructions which you don't explain why you're giving them in the 1st place. For her to understand why she's looking to her left, right mirror etc. you need to explain every step at 1st. This way she'll correctly understand why she is doing these steps. Hope you don't take this the wrong way, but this hit me as I started watching. Always explain why. Cheers😊
