My hair is thick when curly but thin when styled if that makes sense. 🤔 But I did them anyway, I don't like how they look when their down.😒 So I wear them in a ponytail with 1 braid hanging at my temple and 1 braid hanging in the back.💁🏾‍♀️💁🏾‍♀️

*SORRY FOR LONG COMMENT LOL* There is no edge control I'm this world that worked for me. I have tried a hyped up control in my country called ORS olive girls . It is the green and pink cover container. I ain't gonna lie, it laid my edges down but not for long at alllllllllllll. I even tried putting it on then putting on a scarf overnight and it is not sleek and doesnt last. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Back to your night routine.... It is a nice idea but the excess hair hanging would be rubbing again material you sleep on??? Once my hair rubs it frizzes and looks old. I once slept with a sleek bun style with no scarf because I planned on washing the hair the next day and chilllleeeee it was no longer sleek. I looked like a kid that came home from school after playing wild games with friends 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I hope you keep trying and find an edge control that works for you! The one I used worked very well for me. Also, I sleep on a satin pillow case so the hair that is not tucked under my scarf will be just fine LOL I know what you mean LOL about your hair looking like you JUST had been running around outside...that used to be me!

i had the same problem i have to put gel on my edges then go back with edge control then i have to tie them down. i hope this helps
