If you have a bug where the health has disappeared, just rewrite it on your own exactly how it is shown in the video. So after the stats You write \"Health\":100.0,\" - It should look exactly like in the video.

If you guys are having issues finding the search terms in the notepad, Make sure you are clicking at the very top (Start) of the notes because the CTRL + F is defaulted to “Search Downwards”. So when it search’s for your phrase you entered it will only search below where your cursor is clicked. I also have the search phrases in the description you can copy and paste to make sure you entered it correctly.

for some reason it's not working for me for kelvin, I did everything right and put his stuff to false gave his health to 100 and state to 2 but it won't work. Same as virginia as well as watching like 10 other videos for virginia but not working and even putting in more code. Also I put the player killed to 0 so idk

When I go into these files on the steam os the font is two colours red and black with the true false also having a x in the right corner of each setting or answer. It allows me to edit but when i did this the actual save file in game changed when changing difficulty setting but didn't spawn any enemies at all, this was changing from peaceful to normal. Any idea what I did wrong or why the font appears different on the steam notes called Kate or whatever it is lol

It worked, he is alive again, honestly not sure why he died, i sent him to get some sticks and after few minutes of him not moving from the same spot i went to his location and found him grunting on the floor, i couldnt do anything to revive him, i tried reloading save file and found him dead....after editing the last line "player killed" it did say 1 but i never attacked him nor intentionaly nor accidentally however i did notice he has pale face and blood all over it....i cant give him any items for heal, cant give any food nor does he eat or drink by himself, maybe bug........now the problem i have is the game doesnt want to save, i have to hold Y and E to make it work...also when walking W and A its like im getting stuck on something....

they changed it now the file you have to edit is compressed and it doesn't say health anymore, i think they changed playerkilled too but someone mentioned you can add \"Health\":100.0, at the beggining of typeid 9 for kelvin, will try but don't know if it works

this doesnt work anymore. Just tried it and they've zipped the save folder. If you extract and then edit the files and then open the game the Save is gone. Luckily I saved the orignal folder.

it does work, you need winrar or 7zip installed, and selecting all the files use "ADD TO ARCHIVE" then select ZIP as the file option, and BAM! good to go!

@@majormanoyolo2201 i had the same problem but by typing the exact same letters at 2:09 in this video. heres how i did it. right after stats\":{ it goes straight to \"Anger that where you need to insert the command \"Health\":100.0, after that it should look like this Stats\":{\"Health\":100.0,\"Anger then follow the rest of the steps in the video. for whatever reason the game deletes \"Health\":100.0, from the game files. hope this helps

If you made a backup of your save like I showed to do in the video I would just delete the new tampered with save file and then paste the old backup in. Alternatively if you didn’t make a backup go into the notepad where you changed stuff and just change all the things back to how they were before you changed them. For anyone looking for a solution... what I did was this; once you edit the code in the video towards the end, it will delete both virgina and kelvin (for whatever reason). I downloaded thunderstore, cloned kelvin, and ran the command to resummon virginia's first interaction. Not how I wanted to do it, but it worked.

This doesn't actually work any more. you have to know both character entire save data code from your game save then reinput it in the correct place for the second part. first par replaces them but not there save data or interactable data info both npcs die in the dumbest ways( hopefully in 2 days they will fix that crap( especialt the log pile killing them) when they are about you have to be extra carefull around them. check on them often. and when cannable are mas spawn you have to run up to kelvin and tell him to go hide you also now have to have At least 2 saves with them alive. if they die you have to go to a back up. save

​@@gamer_doctor in order to get em back you have to wemod. if your on pc. if your on console your fudged and have to start a new game after your in save file(with wemod running) f10 then f1 "addcharacter robby" "addVirginia" (make sure you use cleardead 1 if you know where their bodies are) (use virginiasentiment command to refix what ever her sentiment was or just 100 it) ( you may also have to respawn in unlocks you had for em) ( i also recomend using settimeofday 7:00 after doing this so you don't waste one of your days) save the game close it out> restart game and open save game> if you don't like playing with mods close wemod and don't launch it ( btw the only 4 mods actually work in the game currently, that don't crash the game. one being a dev console) run game normally both kelvin and Virginia will be back> as long as you cleared their orginall dead bodies and reattached their gear( and sentiment to Virginia) it will be like nothing ever happened to them in your save file. continue playing normally. i use it all the time because they keep dying for the dumbest reasons... they are seriously bugged( i have an actual safe house for both.) to set them back to where i had em. the 2 links for yah www.wemod.com/ sonsoftheforest.fandom.com/wiki/Item_Id oh and i almost forgot if you on multiplayer server make sure every person agrees to let the host ( or a person who knows how to dev console) do this because you can get banned by some people for using mods. You need to open the one that is called "SaveData". I'm not sure if you can open it by extracting it but if you have something like WinRAR you just open it and you will find all of the files in it.

Make sure you click at the very top of the notes and then search for it. It’s default set to “search down” so wherever your cursor is clicked in the notes it will only search for the words from there down. Hope this helps.

@@Get_To_It There's a rare case when you copy your files over from a friend's server (not the server files, just the player files) to your own server, and you spawn in with your own gear and location but no base, no Kelvin and no Virginia. It completely omits their existence on that server, even if you've already progressed to where you have them safe and affectionate. Would appreciate Kelvin's original code like how you pinned Virginia. My world is empty without that deaf idiot.
