I know it's 2 1/2 years later, just wanted to let you know these things are still so helpful. Just sat on the sim for about 5 hours nailing the rewind.... now to go out and try it in real life. I love your channel! Get back to Detroit... .by the time you come back, I'll be able to fly with you!
@quadrupped55477 жыл бұрын
Don't dwell on the comments of others so much Drew. You and your vlogs have always been ever-changing and ever-evolving. Its a vlog... it's about you. You are not a static sit-com character, you are a human being who is always growing and changing. That's what makes a vlog entertaining. I've personally loved watching your 'story' progress and change over time. I think what Woody Allen says about relationships, is true about people as well: "A relationship (people), I think, are like a shark. You know? It has to constantly move forward or it dies...." Keep on swimming brother.

LeDrib, you keep doing you. Can't please everyone. Do what pleases you and let others decide if they want to come along for the ride. Having said that, pleeeaase don't stop with tutorials. Those are my personal favorite and I learn a TON from you. You're a great pilot, vlogger, and personality... But you're also an amazing teacher, and that's extremely valuable.
@charleswhitten13597 жыл бұрын
I'm always amazed at how fluid you are, as far as the way you explained it, fly the camera, makes more sense than your stick explanations. Keep up the flow, bruh. I still enjoy all your content, change is always good.

Drew, I don't comment a lot on your vlogs but I watch every single one. I fell in love with your vids back when you made "your gear doesn't matter" (I think that was the name). This was long before a skitzo frame give away or RR, and I can tell you there has been a an evolution. I wouldn't even call it a change. I still enjoy all that you are doing and as long as you stay true to yourself I will be watching for a long time. There are times I miss that shy guy who tripped over words but I'm also glad to see you grow. Don't let the small but vocal haters get you down. Oh, and don't let that RR fame go to your head. To quote my favorite pilot keep doing it "with love"

Drew, I've been flying Fpv quads for as long as you or even possibly a little longer! Over the past year you have improved immensely! You have gone from being an average pilot with excellent editing skills to a premier pilot with still excellent editing skills! As far as bando flying goes, I'd pick you as the premier Bando pilot! PERIOD! I watch all the great pilots over the past 2-3yrs,some have shown to be stagnant in pilot skills while others continue to blow my mind! you continually show amazing improvement! (I don't really write on these comments but lately on your blogs,I hear someone making a crappy response related to your piloting skills! I would bet my last dollar that your skills out play anything they have! Keep up the great work!

I just pulled off my first Rewind thanks to your video Drew, thanks for the knowledge!! It only took a few tries, and it's going to take MANY more before I can get smooth and do anything other than a basic one, but I got a few under my belt now. Had one where my brain froze right in the middle and i couldn't think of what to do to finish the move, but I didn't get stuck in the tree so I'm calling it good.

Aloha Drew, I'm new to this sport/hobby/artform, and you're first on my watchlist. You offer that combination of the technical, flight how to, and lifestyle that keeps me as a subscriber. You just keep doing what you do and I'll keep watching.

I think your vlog style is changing, this felt much more like an older video, we spent some time hanging out, watching some awesome freestyle, learnt something new. But the fact the videos are evolving and changing as you do is also exciting. I think there have been a lot more blog/adventure/Travel videos recently so it was nice to have one that's just you chatting to us but the variety of videos is what makes the channel interesting. Keep doing what you do!

this is the best i've found, collapses to 5 feet, extends to 28, but it's 32 with the 4 foot end piece sold separately. www.jackite.com/online-store/28-ft-Thick-Tip-Orange-Fiberglass-Windsock-Pole-p78587343 Wish it were 50 feet, but at almost 30 feet, it's a very manageable and sturdy stick, very light weight. there's a video of me using it on my channel called Quad on a stick.

Finally! I've been waiting for a tutorial on the rewind. Thanks for teaching it to us! I will be rewatching this until I get it! Thanks. Also it would be good to see your stick movements. So from what you displayed, it looks like you just reverse your movements to whatever you do with the sticks on the initial stick movements?

Great video Drew. Not sure if you still see these comments this far back. Really like the vlog format, we can find hundreds of flight videos on here, with nothing more to offer. A suggestion for a rewind is underneath a fairly high ceiling is to go up in a half-powerloop (you want to be going straight up while inverted) and then punch out upside down and half-mattyloop out of it.
@SteveWinnard7 жыл бұрын
Drew, just keep doin' what you are doin'. You are by far my favourite vlogger/FPV pilot to watch, and I for one enjoy the mix. In fact in some respects I enjoy the vologging more, because unless there is something new or different (like this one was) most flying vids tend to be very samey.
@MudflapNichols7 жыл бұрын
I watch most people's flight videos to learn, expand, and analyze. I watch your videos because I truly love watching you fly, AND I learn a lot from your flying. We all wish we had more time to fly, but we all have to do what we all have to do. You keep doing what you do, and I'll keep on watching. Even though a TRUE master would have just rewound out of the tree. ;-)

Yeah... you videos did change a bit... and Rotor Riot did change too... but here is the thing... static in life is an illusion... everything always changes slowly but surely.... if a show doesn't evolve, the people watching it will grow out of it and the show will die... So yes your video changed and that's OK... some people won't like it... and that's OK too... just a fact of life I guess.... As for me... I enjoy watching your evolution... from a small time youtube channel to one of the pillar of RotorRiot....Thanks for the ride...
