The use of the horn in Indonesia can also sometimes have a rough connotation. Sounding the horn short, once or twice is usually interpreted as a "signal" for other vehicles. Sometimes it is even interpreted as thank you. If someone gives way to us first, usually Indonesians honk 2 times, short and light. A long and loud horn is usually interpreted as an expression of anger. In short, short horns are usually interpreted as positive, while long horns are usually interpreted negatively.

Sorry Susan, I just want to add some point at number 6 about using horn here. Yes, just use your horn when you need it. 1. Once and short horn sound (bip), means hey i am here or i want to past you. 2. Twice and short horn sound (bip..bip) usualy with short interval mean to say hallo to some one or frieds. 3. Long horn sound (some case repeated many time)... Don't use this if you not angry to some body... Ha..ha.. BTw good job Susan...

For safer and good measurement, you better have a C-International Licensed. It is a license for motor-vehicle (2 wheeler) We drive at left lane, use helmet and mask (recent regulation on travelling). On matic motor vehicle, left stick on your left-side is the rear-brake, which is use more often to stop. Avoid using the right one if it not necessary to make sudden stop. And don't forget to use the signal indicator on the left handle if you want to make a turn. Happy travelling..
