If I'm paying for a lift techy stuff with weird rocks and well made skinnies is the definition of a good day for me. High speed jump trails, especially in crowded bike parks make me uncomfortable I hate going fast around unknown strangers...

Personally I love to ride thru woods or up on the hills not on actual made mtb trails but making my own up as I go along, seeking out those natural hidden features such as slabs, root covered sections and rock gardens. But I also like mixed trails or mixing up from one trail to another. Got to have variety keep it interesting 😊

I think larger berm corners are so much fun. The ones I struggle with at my local park are the much smaller ones about a bike length and about 2 feet high on a descending switch back trail. I stopped and ran it a few times but couldn't figure out the right line and speed.

Excellent video, Ritch! The comparison edits are fantastic. I'll also have to try learning to ride berms to Reggae music...I never thought that could possibly help til now.

I'm pushing back on the even feet. Inside knee up gives me a better center of gravity where I can keep speed up confidently.

How many pro riders or former pros work at GMBN and we got this guy? 😂
@Xabeno8 ай бұрын
I think Rich is a former pro? Either way I like the approachable style and well articulated points that Rich brings to us weekend warriors. His body position is faultless in this video. Only thing they missed was hip rotation and pointing the knees towards the exit of the berm.
