I've always kept the tail curved, would you recommend always running the tails straightened out?

i run it curved with an egg loop knot

I kno this comment is old but you want the wire in there so it's straight and doesn't spin around in the current you want to get it about as straight as you can and it makes it look more natural

I checked out the size 12 you said you were using I found out the lenght is; Size 12 - 1/2" body length is this correct?
