I've seen this on a couple of the KZbin catfish guys channels that I follow but haven't seen anybody here in Central Texas, where I live use them. If they are, they're being quiet. I just ordered some and think I'll try them out here where I fish. They aren't expensive and I don't fish in water anything like the Tennessee River though so I got a few different colors. And of course, I ordered before I finished the video! I missed yet another discount. The story of my life. LOL!

that's the same knot that I have been using since I started fishing. the only time I have had a problem with the knot is on small test line. sometimes the knot will slip and I would have to retie it again. You definitely need a float when dragging to keep your bait off bottom. The effectiveness of rattles is debatable but they definitely don’t seem to hurt.

Circle hooks set themselves when the fish swims away, right in the side of the mouth. Another benefit of circle hooks are that the fish won't get gut hooked.
