The trial version only allows you to rip the first 5 min thats why it only take 20 minutes to rip. it even tells you before you rip if you want to rip the whole dvd you must buy it.

Hi. Thanks for sharing your wisdom. I recently purchased the platinum version because the free version would only limit me to downloading a maximum of 5 minutes of video. I have a lot of tv shows/series on dvd. The discs seem to combine episodes together into segments. Is there a way with winx to separate each individual episode ? Be very careful with DVD ripping, some artists/producers use viruses that will destroy your OS. Better option is use a DVD player, and use OBS and handbrake. Takes longer, but it is safe.

thanks for the info. downloaded winx dvd ripper last night but I'm noticing a problem. it doesn't "finish" ripping the track. it goes to 99% and never goes past that. any reason for that and how can I fix it?

I downloaded it but when I try to run set up it warns me that it could harm my pc. its just gonna be loaded with loads of the usual spyware and malware which I won't be able to get rid of so I'm not gonna bother but thanks anyway.

I just got Winx DVD ripper, and I really like the format and the simplicity. But every time I press start so it can rip, I get an error message saying that the dvd is encrypted so it can't rip it. But I have the latest edition, it should be able to rip it. Any suggestions?

Went to download the DVD encrypter, this is what I found. It says that the program was shut down and development was halted on July 5 2005.So this is not available for download.The DVD 43 does not work on my system for some reason.But the DVD ripper works great!!!!

Unfortunately the dvd ripper did not work it tells you to buy the full platinum version , I tried the dvd43 not working , then I tried dvd encrypter still no good so I got the full version and bang it works

I think the free version allows 5 minutes max, so you have to buy the full version. What I dont unterstand is why everybody here is like "THANK YOU!" even they can only do 5 minutes at a time? What movie is 5 minutes long for gods sake

Looks like maybe that company have restricted the free version to only 5 minutes. Shame. I use Power ISO and make a disk image. Then to watch it I mount the disk image with powerISO.
