How-To: RokBlokz Mudflap Install 2018+ Subaru Crosstrek

Today Rick shows us how to install the RokBlokz Mud Flaps on the 2018+ Subaru Crossrek, but this install will be very similar to pretty much all Subarus including the WRX and STI. Why is the inside of the back fender bent towards the front? Any ideas? Thanks for the vid. I will be installing mine any day now.

Are you talking about the lower plastic portion where the mud guard installs to on the rear of the car? If so that's just the contour of that piece and how the under body panels are formed. I don't have an actual reason other than guessing it might be for mud/dirt protection or possible for aero, but let me know if you're talking about something else. Thanks! Rick

Is your crosstrek lifted ? Did you have any problems with that wheel set up rubbing against the mudflaps ?

Sorry for the super late response! It is lifted 1.5 inches, and under certain conditions with the current wheel/tire setup we get a tiny bit of rubbing in the front, but that's due to the mudguards. If you follow the pinned post by stupidchicken03 on Blake's Garage channel, they show how to install mudflaps to get a bit more clearance for larger tires. Thanks! Rick
