I think at least two notable difference between the Highmountain and Thunderbluff Tauren are that the Thunderbluff were mostly nomadic for a long long time only settling recently because of the horde. Mostly because of the centaur who they have serious issues with. As well as the Highmountain actually have a history of using metals, and mining, with a whole tribe(?) existing with that skillset.

So because Huln rescued some animal, he and the rest of the tauren of highmountain we're blessed with antlers? Either that blessing somehow applied to the tauren on the mountain as a whole, or Huln got really busy after the failed legion invasion.

You know, I was wondering the same thing! I guess it could have applied to all the Tauren in the area? I guess? But I like the whole Huln getting busy idea better.

I encountered a highmoutnain npc in the barrens who hadn't got any antlers, but that explains everything, that tauren didn't want the gift.

I just unlocked them today, I can't wait to roll one! As for Highmountain Monks, perhaps a wandering Pandaren found their way to Thundertotem after all it isn't like Highmountain was sealed off like Suramar.

That sounds good to me! Enjoy your new Tauren!

It should be noted in hindsight that even though they branch like antlers they are still horns as they don't shed and regrow like antlers do and are permanent like horns.

Malfurion was the first scholar of druidism There is a story ingame in thunder bluff that claims differently, but was proven wrong. Lets say milenia without writing, some storys may have altered.

ty for your comment clarifying. I no longer play the game so videos like this rely on people like you to keep up with the ever changing (sometimes not) lore.

The thing I like about Highmountain Tauren is that they are more appropriate for being in the Horde than the actual Tauren. HMT are hardened machines of war that make their presence known. They fight off demons on the daily in addition to subterfuge and having badass lore. With the release of Allied Race DK's, the story can get a bit hazy, but 4th Generation DK's (the allied races) are people who willingly joined the Ebon Blade to serve Bolvar and protect the balance, so HMT would be the first on the list to join. Technically, there are zero allied race DK's so keep that in mind as after the events of the DK order hall, people aren't all too happy with the Ebon Blade, especially Paladins. Your character is going to need some mighty good convincing as to why you should sacrifice your mortal life for the good of Azeroth and the Shadowlands after the heretical actions they committed.

The highmountain taurens look silly with their oversized antlers. I just imagine them getting stuck in every doorway. More than the bloodhoof tauren anyway.
