"And be confident that it will roll on the proper angle." This is really the point, to know what you're doing well enough that everything is intentional and you have total confidence in the outcome. This is why this tutorial is fantastic.

This is also the first of a Rigging Inanimate Objects series. Drop a comment below on objects you’d like to see rigged!

Awesome! I'd love to see how you might approach rigging up an old style oscillating room fan, you know like sits on a desk or the floor or something. It's got some up down, left right, and spinning too!

A bottle with a twist cap might be cool

I would like to see how to wrap a strap around and down the length a cylindrical object, like bandages around an arm.

awesome stuff! Thanks for sharing! :) How many subdivisions would you recommend for the map/plane?
@FruitZeus3 жыл бұрын
It depends on how big the plane vs how small the roll is! Really just subdivide it until it looks smooth enough or your scene can’t handle it any more lol.

how can I take this animation to unity? I did my roll with object constraints and they arent exporting well. this method is not working for me my plane becomes a ribbon when I use the curve modifier.
@h4rumony2 жыл бұрын
does this work when exported into a game engine? yes it does, it has bones i didn't watched the last half before writing this.
