When I realized that happiness is a choice, that was a huge shift for me. Your video was perfect. We should “live” not just “exist.” I have a dear friend in Germany who has taught me the joy of the moment. Ex. Sitting consciously at breakfast, maybe with a candle lit and fully enjoying a cup of tea and whatever we are eating. I was divorced/single for almost 20 years but I was not unhappy since I had the time to enjoy and be grateful for all that I had and those who were in my life. Nothing was taken for granted. Thank you for this reflection!

You have vinyl records! My husband and I still have a few hundred of them. Only one problem, I cannot find them easily. The jacket sides have been worn or scratched by our cats over the years. But they are on 3 long shelves in our guest room. A turntable and amplifiers as well. One project ahead is for me to organize my collection in a way I can locate the records. I've also seriously considered downsizing many of them, since I have a large CD collection now too. I'm a musician and piano teacher, so it's in my genes to collect music, records, etc. But it's time to let some go. My husband has his collection housed there too.
