Good job guys! I've been putting off doing that for awhile... Old drain pipe somehow got crushed by the weight of the sidewalk that sunk about 2 - 3 inches. I guess it was a poor job done years ago before I bought the house. thanks for the video, I've been ckg youtube for best option.

This is a great idea for the DIY project that you're likely not repeating any time soon. Most likely everyone has a pressure washer, sledgehammer or rubber mallet (if you're a DIY kind of a guy/gal). Relatively easy and much more affordable/practical on the cheap compared to other much more expensive alternatives. Thanks for sharing. 👍

Tree roots in front of my house have destroyed an old galvanized water line - just 2 feet from the meter. I plan to reroute a new copper line around the tree to the house, which requires tunneling under a concrete sidewalk. Your video really helps. I also appreciate the safety tips as well. Thank you....

Would an electric pressure washer have enough power to work for this?
@MowerMike2 жыл бұрын
How many PSI is your pressure washer? We used a 3k pressure washer.

You don't need the pipe. Just hold the wand down there and let'r rip. You can also 'dig' up stumps like this.
@MowerMike Жыл бұрын
Haha I like it. Didn’t even think of just letting it rip with no pipe. Thanks for the suggestion

Hi I was wondering where did you get those boots and are you into cowboy boots?
@MowerMike3 жыл бұрын
Hey Sam, those are steel toed rubber work boots. I added an Amazon link to the video description where you can buy your own pair. And yes of course I am into cowboy boots! Is this the infamous Sam Butler AKA WIA association president?

I for sure don't want ANY kind of SPLOOGE on my face! I think a SawZall and a Fernco would/may help more When shooting your way through the unknown. I'll report back when the time comes. Cut some “teeth” on the front opening of the pipe and it will help cutting through.
