I have an 04 Mach 1, yes I hate paying for 93 octane every week to drive this fun car. Honestly, I feel you will be losing horsepower by going to E 85 gas. Yes, E85 is a lot cheaper, but for me, it’s sacrificing the performance of the car.

Yea the 93 is ridiculous right now. Who told you that E85 loses horsepower? That's just false. It has a higher octane rating than 93 pump gas. It can be compared to 105 octane if the gas is spot on. In almost every instance, the e85 will make more power than regular gar. It really shines with boosted applications.

Is it possible to use a tuner to swap back and forth between an E85 tune and regular gasoline? just curious if you were out and away from E85 availability if that would work. I'd suppose the most important thing would be to get the E85 out of the system as much as you can.

Yes, usually a tuner will give you a regular gas tune and a e85 tune. So if you were stuck somewhere that only had regular gas, you could switch to that tune .

@@EGPerformance I agree with both y’all statements, but to me I will run the 93 octane, cause I love the throttle response, put you in the seat performance. If there is a tune, that will allow me to get the performance out of E85, like I do on my twin turbo Mach 1. Let me know, cause the 93 octane is damn killing me. Lol

It all just depends. We have been using our stock lines this whole time and they seem to be holding up fine.

I have a handheld bama tuner do you happen to know how I can download or get it tuned properly? Or do I have to take it to a dyno first

Check and see if that tuner has the “tunes for life” by bama. If not you will have to get a tune by someone that supports mach 1’s.

Its not but its always good to do so. Have had the stock lines on all the cars and no issues. Its not like acid.

Are you asking or telling? I would say 47lb injectors minimum. Thats generally the size needed for NA if you want to run e85.
