"It's very difficult to win and compete against people who are having fun." I love this!

Never heard of Lee before, yet in 5.5 mins he articulates what 100's of other KZbin videos fail to achieve when discussing training for Ultra running, fantastic and thank you Lee.............

What he doesn't tell you in the video is he finished 1st in 3h49 minutes. Assuming this was about the event back in 2020. Humble dude.

I think I am overlooking something obvious but it looked like the video recommends 100km/wk if you're working in kilometers and 100m/wk if working in miles? (1:58)
@SirAdammmmm Жыл бұрын
I think the implication is it doesn't matter, there is no magic number, just do a lot.

@@SirAdammmmmThat's exactly what I meant. I should have explained more clearly. 🙏

100 km vs 100 miles?! Not quite the same.

I can't believe they didn't elaborate on that point any further? 62 miles vs. 100miles..?

@@ldoughtyy Agreed! Sucks for me as an american I guess!
@ldoughtyy Жыл бұрын
@@troy_meeker haha, yep, sorry pal. Everyone else should run 100km/week, but for you, the magic number is 160km!
@leegrantham11 ай бұрын
@troy_meeker @ldoughtyy Apologies, what I meant was that generally, people aim for a round number. Whether that's a 3 hour marathon time or a 40 minute 10km, and that also happens with total volume: Brits/Americans often aim to run the magic number of 100 miles, because they work in miles. Europeans/Asians aim for 100km per week, as they work in kilometres. 🙏

@@ldoughtyyI'm more surprised that you didn't pick me up on my choice pronunciation of "incomprehensible", maybe the km/miles bit was a distraction from that earlier error. 😂
