The Shattered Stairs is actually one of my favorite Doomvault variant locations; whether nerfed or plaid as written, it provides some real opportunities for creative problem solving by the players, and it can really be intense when the Invincibles are in pursuit. (Fun Fact: The first TPK I ever presided over in ICRPG was when a party faced off in a boss fight against just *one* Flaming Skull...)

I didn't realize the Shattered Stairs were part of Doomvault. Is that in the mega dungeon version? (Edit) Ok now after watching the whole video I understand. I learned something today 😆

You could reduce the _Once Were Men_ attacks by having an _Invincible_ pick one up and use it as a weapon 😅
