Coach, on the verts, when do you get your players to check back for the ball? Is it early, or when they have cleared the first level?

The way we treat it is that the inside guys are taught to get their head around when the clear the linebackers if they are uncapped.

Coach when u get a chance u have to get Madden 20. The first ever Madden with rpo’s. Mesh have been updated with open grass reads, lot of snags and 4 vertical is almost unstoppable, with one slot tagged with a post.

Coach McKie It’s so realistic. They even call illegal linemen downfield on rpo’s if you hold on it too long. They’ve also added reverses, pop passes, the Philly special vs the patriots and tons of air raid concepts.

Coach, on your adjuster route, have you ever tried changing the angle from 45 degrees to an angle a bit steeper and/or using cones or some other barrier to train them not to go so far across the field? Also, do you have a tag for the play for when you are in a crucial long yardage situation where they have to go deep and try to win even if the coverage is playing deep? Or, do you just let them play it the same, take what they give you, and try to make a play after the catch?

I notice here the rb was opposite side picked does it matter if qb picks left vert and rb checks left? Make sense? Does not matter Rb is always 3rd look yes? Also in gun what’s drop please? 5? Big3? Thanks coach

Thanks coach. We killed it with 4 Verts this year but it was based on Coach Pat Taylors video you shared last off season. We play mostly single high safety teams so we had easy money pre-snap looks, then put the single high safety in conflict with the slots left to right (F/H to Y). 12 TDs with 6 this season...

You used the quick hitch if grass, too? And what rules did you give your slots in 2x2? It’s so many ways to run this, I’m just trying to find my best way.
