I came across your video today. I noticed you was using a h2 saddle. What is your honest opinion about that saddle ?

I feel like it would be a comfortable saddle that doesn't enough attention !

H2 was one of the first quality saddles to hit the market back when it all became popular. Honestly I love it and probably won't get a new one until it wears out completely.. which so far seems a long ways out. It's comfortable and very heavy duty. I one stick climb and it will handle anything you want to strap on to it just fine.

Harbor freight atv winch rope $35 for diy aders. Love the muddy pro. Two step and if you live in the mitten the Hunters Den in Laper is the birck and morter for Eastern Woods Outdoors. They have a table top bin with several different types of sterling climbing rope cut in different lengths. All of the stuff on their website is in the shop. Found a deal on some Easton trad arrows. Well worth the trip

is your "double slipknot" a double fishermans? or under what number is it in the ashley´s book of knots? and the stopperknot? just a fisherman´s knot, right? TBO this gets really a lil´ confusing when the knots are not named

If someone has experience in being a tree arborist or a rock climber yes by all means do it yourself. If you're brand new tree saddle hunting and your plan buying your own ropes and making your own amsteel Bridge or or tying or own knots its very dangerous in my opinion. Spend the extra money be safe. I fell from a tree over 30ft I was lucky there was snow ❄️ on the ground. There's no glory in falling from a tree and being seriously injured.

I would agree! Personally I feel the most safe when I have tied everything and made everything myself. I know I can trust my work. But It's not something to jump into blindly without doing proper research or testing.

@@bpwhitetails I am guessing your a really good guy . I disagree with your video encouraging new saddle hunters making their own bridges or tweaking their bridges. Buying cheaper ropes and tying there own knots its simply not worth the risk. Unless you a strong background like said before
