All these years I've been struggling to jack from the centre point, when I could've been using the eye! What a revelation 🙏🏻

Many thanks for this: I'd come to same conclusion as to the front and rear jacking points but good to have agreement!

I have a [dry sump] skid plate at the front, so need a different front end solution with 2 stands. From NZ🇳🇿 with a Fraser 7.

Great advice thank you. Different to the method in Caterham handbook but your way makes more sense to me. About to Jack mine up for the first time to put some protection on. Dinitrol or ACF50. Any thoughts/advice out there?

I built my car on 4 stands there is zero chance I would ever not use 4. I also have never lifted the back first but to each his own.

Make sure your on a flat smooth surface when jacking up the front and that your jack has rollers otherwise it could drag the back of the car off the rear axle stands.

Can you show how to Jack up using 4 axle stands as it's very much safer.Thanks.

This is the technique we’ve used for years, and it’s rock solid 💪

Your jack and the axle stands need a thick rubber to protect the power coating from the de dion a frame, axle and chassis.
