I've met an online friend a couple years ago, she brought a friend from home when we met. I never got the typical college experience due to covid so online friends were all i had. If meeting online friends at any age, go with someone (friend, partner, sibling, etc). Even as an adult.

It's kind of embarrassing that I'm looking this up- but ever since I started online school and covid-19 was release and we all were in quarantine, I felt lonely and like I was friendless- I want to make a best friend or a soulmate! Also soulmates aren't romantic but they can just be another version of a bestfriend! Well,I have to say that some people don't realize that they need to keep their info safe.I mean,it's too easy for some people to trust their online friends and just tell them something personal.I think this kind of action is not safe.For me,I'd like to make online friends,and I also like to share something really funny or sad with them.But if they ask me my name,my phone number even my home address,I'll feel uncomfortable and just refuse to answer🤨.BTW,if somebody wants to ask a photo of me,should I give it to them?🤔
