How to safely wash & remove orange rust spots (DECONTAMINATE) white paint!

This is a simple but thorough wash process -- effective on ANY paint color -- that will be visually striking on white paint because of the embedded contamination, or industrial fallout (those pesky orange spots that start to appear on your white paint). Instead of using a clay BAR, we have our "clay towel" (which we call the Perforated Synthetic Decontamination Towel). Could you possibly do a video on stone chip and/ road rash repair with a touch up pen then polishing? I have a white car and have used your iron remover to get rid of all the fallout on the surface and it worked great but I have some stone chips on the bonnet/hood that keep getting rust spots around them as soon as a week after using the iron remover. I would like to see your expertise on this

Continue cleaning the car but consider a better touch up with Dr. ColorChip or Touchup RX. Use google search as they have good videos too!

@@cormaro1376 yes I did coat them. I've tried everything from wax to ceramic and the exposed metal just keeps oxidizing. I have some bilt hamber rust converter (hydrate-80) but I would rather use matching paint and buff it out to make it look right

Would you say that is the equivalent to DIY Quick Beads and DYI Ceramic Gloss? I used to used those 2 together on dry surface after wash and dry. Could I do that with Quick Beads and Ceramic Gloss? Hi there, we don’t like to compare our products to other companies. However, if you want to use both products try this: on wet clean paint after wash…spray on quick beads, let dwell, rinse off. Then use Ceramic Gloss as your traditional drying aid. You will love the results 😍

I've always been apprehensive about decontamination. As a weekend warrior I don't want to have to polish afterward. So clay bars are a no go. The decon towel on the other hand seems much more approachable.

Meguairs do a non-abrasive clay bar and it works brilliant. I've used on lots of cars with no scratches, swirls, marring or any other problems. Honestly give it a go your car will thank you

I had mentioned in a comment on another video that this exact thing happened to me when working on my parent's car. I wish this video had been out then cause I neither had patience, or knowledge with the rust spots. I was afraid to mar the paint making too many passes with the towel. I was also not patient with my poor elderly dad trying to help me 😔 Detailing was not fun that day. Lessons learned. Hopefully I won't make the same mistakes again.

You wouldn't use Iron Remover after polishing, that would be part of your preparation before polishing. We love a short nap towel, dunked in your Rinseless Wash bucket and then wrung out, as the first towel to wipe off polish. Then followed by a dry towel

Ideally wash the top with DIY Detail Rinseless Wash. Allow to dry completely. Apply DIY Detail Interior Ceramic Coating with a brush, allow to dry 30 mins, repeat.

Our iron remover is compatible with most towels, including TRC’s . It’s most iron removers that are not compatible with the towels.

I think you should use a leaf blower to dry the car. No need to put a drying towel to the paint. The leaf blower will easily blow the water beads off no problem.
