The way you handle this beautiful male is horrible, you probably kill that fish… next time keep his head in the water !

I couldn't agree more. He will absolutely kill that fish by handling it out of the water like that. So many anglers do it! Please photograph them in the water and don't lift them out particularly with your hand directly underneath the heart. Thank you!

Agreed. Play it until it's exhausted, as he said and then hold it out of water that long. Some one explained it to me like running a marathon then having some one hold your head underwater as soon as you cross the finish line. No respect for the salmon at all.

Looks like a Megoff 8/10 LA. Hand made and fairly rare I’d imagine as they are made by a Ukrainian I believe.
