Great help. I would add 2 things: 1. When he says wear gloves when removing the front panel, it’s not to give a better grip. The edges of the panel are REALLY sharp. I cut my palm. 2. If your washer is on a drawer base/pedestal, you can very easily remove the bottom screws of the front panel. Pull the drawer out-they are right there (actually easier access than if it sat on the floor).

I would advise everyone to follow the suggestion of wearing work gloves. When the covers are removed many sharp edges are exposed. The gloves will help keep you from accidentally cutting yourself.

Unfortunately, we just have the replacement video. But that should show you how the seal should go on and how it should look. If your seal is not on properly you may need to remove it and reinstall it correctly.

Great video. My washer was slightly different but the basic steps were the same. I had to unscrew the soap dispenser before I could take out the control panel. Also, I realized after a bit of struggle that my door panel was screwed down to pedestal, so something to keep in mind. I also took lot of pictures and mini videos to keep track of things when putting it all back together.

Awesome step by step! My bottom screws for the front panel were completely worn down from somebody sliding the washer across a cement floor when they were moving it I'm assuming. Took a while but ended up drilling the screws out and was back on track. Thanks again for such an in depth video and saving us all a lot of money!

With the new style Samsung Front Loaders, there are two small screws in the bottom of the front cover; preventing you from just lifting up and pulling the front cover off the machine. The screws are installed in the very bottom on the underside of the front cover that makes it impossible to access. Why Samsung did this is beyond me.... I really do appreciate your video!

I have watched a couple videos and everyone gets this thing on with no problem. I have the correct part but cannot for the life of me get it to fit. The part number the manufacturer recommends for that model is DC90-24123A. This part is no longer manufactured and we do not have any stock left. You will need to test that number and check around to see if anyone still has some stock left.
