Thank u for the info. I do have one question, before i listened to ur info. I saved the audio message, but i dont know where it saved it too. where would it be stored on my computer or phone? I save photos no problem, they go straight into photos app.

▼ Hey there @Scott K - after you click the COPY option, the file is saved "in memory" until you PASTE IT SOMEWHERE. So in this video, straight after copying, you go to the FILES FOLDER and paste it there, so it's easy to find. Then you can AirDrop (on iPhone) or send it to your laptop etc. Hope this helps :-)

When you "Save", it used to go to Voice Memos but Apple has stopped that feature. Now you can only copy and paste it and save it to Files app.

make sure you are updated to latest iOS, all iPhone has copy and paste, you have to press and down until the menu pops up

No, that's because you're trying to save an audio message that someone SENT you. This video is for people trying to save their own messages. Notice that every video on KZbin has a video with the text on the right side of the screen (signifying YOU as the sender). They don't know how to save ones received either. :(

In the past iOS version, it would go to Voice Memos but unfortunately it doesn't anymore with the new iOS, this is why you have to copy and save it to Files or another location manually.

Hmm never heard of this issue before. You can try resetting the settings. Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings (first option). This will reset all the default settings but will not delete your information.

▼ Hey @Double CC - yes you can export it. After you click the COPY option, the file is saved "in memory" until you PASTE IT SOMEWHERE. That’s why it say “me” up top your contact & you had a way to save it. But you know that can’t save audio messages with other ppl cus that “save” not on there😂
