Your video is inspiring. That I too want to become a homeowner but at the age of 32 is it too late to own a home. I'm currently renting at 930pcm. Do you think that I'll be better off moving bk to my parents in order lest say 2 years to get the capital that I need to buy a property or not.
@Anna-er8qe5 жыл бұрын
Ishmael Musoke Absolutely! if you have the opportunity to stay at your parents and save hundreds a month to get set for your future life do it! Better to do it now than have to do it at 40🤷🏾♀️ even then that’s still young!
@ForeverFarrah5 жыл бұрын
I would certainly move! I am sure you would pay your parents way less so you could save sooooo much money.

tip no1, if you can move back home and really start saving, I was saving about £2K a month before i bought my place, some ppl save less some save more. but if you can move back home, I cant believe she did not mention that, that should be to of the list, what is saving £300 a month gonna do, maybe you can buy a house in 10 years doing that
@ForeverFarrah6 жыл бұрын
Vic O there are obviously a million and one tips but these were mine. My boyfriend managed to save money while paying a mortgage so I don’t think living at home and saving is completely necessary. Not everyone can save 2k a month.

hey great video, a personal question you do not have to answer exact but I'm saving for a house on my own how much deposit did you need for your house?
@TheFrecklePrincess6 жыл бұрын
Life of a Twenty Something normally around 10%
@ForeverFarrah6 жыл бұрын
Yes our deposit was 10 percent but if you are a first time buyer (in the U.K.) then you can get a good deal! Also, for first time buyers, depending on the value of the house you may not need to pay stamp duty!! Which will save you loads!! Good luck with your saving!! I plan on uploading a video on the house buying process soon. I hope that helps!

This video didn’t give any real tangible insight. Yes you saved but from what you’ve said in the video I dnt see how you could have achieved this considering the property prices currently without help from family etc. I know you bought with your boyfriend.These kind of videos need detail on how to not generalisations.
