Omgggg the baby💗💖🧿♥️♥️I been so obsessed with them since before moving to South Carolina. Been seeing them at the parks I collect the pods if I ask one of the workers maintaining the area. Some are nice like ok go ahead some give me really weared looks so I leave it alone. Can't wait to start planting them and learning more about these beauties. Thank you for your information and sharing your knowledge ❤❤❤

Thank you for posting this! I live in Florida and my first baby bloomed 10 days before Christmas. About the same time as last year. I trimmed it to the base and 1 year later after only one trim, it’s half the size. I enjoyed the part where you mentioned the netting, this will help tremendously!

Thank you! Here in Indy, I don’t trim mine because they die back every winter and come back.

I would love a video on how to save begonia seeds. Hibiscus and begonia flowers are 2 of my favorites

Begonias are on my list! I have been trying to save the seeds for a couple of years now, they are a bit tricky.

Are the green seeds that fall from my red hibiscus plantable?
@circlecityseeds7 ай бұрын
Hello! Probably not. The seeds are brown and dry when they are ready.

I have a few of the big seed pods like in video but the majority are only about size of a pencil eraser when they brown & fall off???
@rickl56394 ай бұрын
Anybody?
@circlecityseeds4 ай бұрын
The seed pods on mine are a little smaller than a golf ball. If the pods are the size of a pencil eraser they may not have been pollinated. I would wait and see if they get any bigger. If they did not get pollinated I assume they will fall off on their own.

Pls tell how we can pollinate these hibiscuses?
@circlecityseeds6 ай бұрын
Insects should pollinate the flowers with no issues. If you feel like you need to hand pollinate the flowers I would use a paintbrush.

Curious, with how many seeds you collecting in this video - how many will typically end up growing?
@circlecityseeds5 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for watching! Head flower makes about 20-30 seeds. I usually plant whatever seeds sprout from testing the germination rate of the seeds each year.
