These are really mind bending. Most of us thought that it takes two to tango, but what we don't realize is that, someone has to know the dance first so the other partner can be guided to dance as well. Thank you Geoffrey for all these eye-opening facts. More paradigms and mindsets videos please on how we can become an effective leader, leading our relationship with our partner thrive.. 🙂

Thanks. I am accountable for my actions in relation to our separation. She has a drinking problem along side me with my pokies problem. Also baggage from my last relationship didn't help me or my wife because of resentments I had not dealt with. At least I can still once a week at this stage talk to her by phone or in person. I still have to work on myself with help with the appropriate people. Thanks for your videos 👍

Geoffrey, awesome video. You have explained my state of mind so accurately that It's given me new hope. I have been stuck in a cycle of negativity for years and it's a miracle my wife has stayed with me so long. She recently told me she is no longer in love with me but I'm absolutely determined to deal with my issues and try to save my marriage. A lot of damage has been done over the years as I've let this cycle go on for so long, but the time has come to take real action. Thank you.

Things got so tough in my relationship last night that I was actually in a place where I was looking for apartments to move into because I thought it was time to take the final steps in ending my relationship. I was ready to give up & move out. Thankfully I stumbled on one of your videos where you said when your partner resists, you must persist & wow that really clicked. I am so grateful to have found this channel. There is hope. I needed a paradigm shift. I’m excited to put in the necessary work to rebuild emotional safety in my relationship. Thank you Geoffrey. 🙏🏻

If you’re snooping down these comments looking for the answers and quick fixes just keep watching his videos, I’m telling you once you change your true values the outcome will be better. Build that framework and keep driving threw one day at a time don’t manufacture conversation I’ve been fighting with this. Let her open the door and find your changes truly untether yourself. Once you can pin point when she’s showing bitterness and resistance and able to stop that and realize why she’s acting in that matter you know you’re on the right path keep grinding there’s hope. “When the going gets tough, the tough gets going”

Here are a few issue is see with the leader mentality. 1. Ignore all the issue in the marriages, ignore not being appreciate, ignore the being abused, ignore all your needs. Be the 1%, because the 1% doesn’t let these things bother them. I know, in the end of every masterclass they alway say. If she doesn’t come back you will now become a better person, a leader , will attract a better new spouse and happier than before. Win win no matter the outcome. Same play book of other life coaching masterclass. Improve your self and attract your ex back, if it doesn’t work you are now a better man.

Married for 24 yrs! 7 yrs now after she filed for divorce Unbeknownst to me she was working on it for 5 yrs prior I walked on eggshells for many yrs That’s no way to live! I still love love and I would die for her. That is the man code. Let me tell you something no coach will tell you. The one who invented marriage says marriage is for life. For richer or for poor In sickness and in health For better or for worse Till death do us part I am at peace. If she comes back, great if not oh well! Still I don’t sweat it. I will stick to my vows! Marriage is NOT a contract but a vow.! The only think that ends a marriage is the death of a partner not a peace of paper from a human court and a human judge. God says the two will become one flesh. That settles it. Any questions? Read his word

I highly doubt you'll see this but Alot of the things you are talking about is spot on but she still tells me she loves me and calls me cute little names even calls to tell me she was thinking about me but when I bring up us working it out it's always a no It has me extremely confused

Maybe I should've processed this more first, but I'm going to throw this out here anyway. Can both people be leaders together? As I'm listening, my first thoughts were of wanting to share this video with him (I've refrained for now). As I kept listening, however, I realized that I've pretty much been the leader for our 15 years. (Epiphany during editing) What happened was that I had had a series of super traumatizing life events. I completely lost "me" & when I did, I apologized for falling & said to him "I need you to take the wheel for a while". That was 2.5 years ago. I'm definitely a different person as a result of what I went through. But I suppose my questions still technically remain. Suspecting I will find the answer watching more of your videos, but will put it out there in case it ends up helping someone else some day in the comment thread 😉🌻 Can both be leaders together? Or is that not a proper thought to have here? At the moment, I can see the answers being yes, no, as well as yes AND no, lol.

Hi LoveOptomistic, Absolutely! This is the very best part about one partner learning the right skills and mindsets to be able to lead the other on how to also provide trust & safety. This is where challenges are no longer challenges, they are only growth opportunities and ones that cause the couple to become closer and more connected to one another.

@@GeoffreySetiawan Wow, thank you for the quick & thoughtful response! Already thought you are amazing, but now I feel you're incredibly rad too. Seriously, if KZbin had an "A game" award, hands down w/o doubt it would go to you. Guess I might be a tough critic, I'm not recalling ever being as impressed (definitely not in this genre). You are truly a gift to anyone that is of open mind & willing to learn their "A game". Teaching style is outstanding, material is straightforward, easy to understand, not to mention practical & doable. Found you yesterday afternoon, watched several videos & wanted to keep going (and will). Don't want to jinx anything, but I put my bulletproof on & used a couple of your tips last night. Was able to have a conversation & I made dinner which we actually ate together. With all things considered, have to say we were successful. Still in separate rooms, but neither of us went to bed angry or fighting & even had a couple laughs which were nice. Thanks Geoffrey In closing, I'm not sure yet what you charge, but fairly certain it is not enough. The impact you're going to have on the world, is HUGE! I'm hoping you're already well on your way to teaching other "Geoffrey's" to do what you do, so that they can help others in the same way you do. Do you have a collaborative counterpart for a women's version or are you just going to change your intro to say that you help people instead of just men? Whichever way things go I pray it catches like wildfire!! Matter of fact, where do I sign up for THAT masterclass, I've been told I'd be a good teacher 😁. Suppose I better master the crawl before trying to walk & run lol. You are a miraculous gift to us all, thanks again Geoffrey.

I have a decent grasp of your information about being a leader, but how can you show your wife that you’re in the position to lead without being pushy in her eyes?
@krissegesman67373 жыл бұрын
What if she doesn't want to share or open up?
@GeoffreySetiawan3 жыл бұрын
Hey Kris - You realize that this is the whole point behind creating safety and the main point of the skills in the program, which is teaching you frameworks, mindsets and approaches to help your partner open up beyond what you think is possible? This is like asking a weight loss class - "What if I am fat?" Well...That's precisely the point! Take a look at any & all of my client's stories, and you'll see how many people are overcoming the issue pretty easily. But what's perplexing is you actually had a call scheduled to join the program, re-scheduled, and never responded to any of our attempts to re-confirm. We would love to show you, but we, unfortunately, had to cancel your call to make room for other applicants and we could not get a hold of you. We wish you all the best!
