I once travelled from Stockholm Sweden, to Tromsø northern Norway. I purposefully stuck to public transport, and made the journey last as long as I possibly could. I took train, bus and ferry. When I get to Tromsø, I remember thinking, “now what?”. I realised that the adventure of travelling to the destination was so much more fun than the destination. Legit game changer in my perspective.

I did the same back in 2019, 6 countries in one week, Paris, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, Slovenia and ended the trip in Poland where we spent 2 days...sleeping at night in buses at buses... it was great 😆 my mum did it with me. I was vegetarian at that time, became vegan in 2020. The vegan food in Madrid looks amazing
