Brad! Thank you man. I purchased your Mend the Marriage E-Book... albeit a little doubtful because the purchase process became very “salesy” BUT I was willing to give it a try to uncover anything that would be helpful. Needless to say... those 271 pages were PACKED with absolutely FANTASTIC information, and I was able to IMMEDIATELY use dozens of your suggestions and every single one has been helpful! I honestly would have naturally made things worse on my own. Having your advice to guide me through this, I can tell has already been able to begin the improvement process in our relationship. We’re still at the beginning of the turmoil and repair but... I can tell... as long as I keep following your advice... we will be able to successfully get back to the “Bliss Stage”... Thanks again man 🙏🏾

Hey Brad. Feels weird even writing this. Wife of 8 years recently told me she wasn't feeling it and that she hasn't been for a little while. Initially I think she blamed herself. I've noticed her struggling emotionally for some time, but now she says she's having a hard time getting joy out of our relationship. She wants to try work it out which I suppose is a positive. We have a son so that adds an element to this. Recently she has been streaming on twitch and having some success with that. I'm very proud of her but it is taking over her life quite a lot. She started streaming 2, then 3, and now 5 days. Often she moved around our designate time. She sits on the platform all day while watching our son. She is constantly networking. I recently began to wonder if she has become addicted to the platform and that is why she has trouble getting joy out of other things. Her friends have some of the same concerns, although it's difficult because we all want to be supportive too. I brought my concerns up to her a couple nights ago and she really didn't take it well... I've told her I'd like her to put better boundaries on her hobby and explained that it is difficult for me because I also want to be supportive. I worry it gives her mixed signals as per her own words. I'm genuinely not sure what to do. I feel like I am losing my wife. I'm not sure how to make this better when I feel like her means of coping is naturally pushing me out and taking priority over everything else. Any words of wisdom is helpful.

Hey brad, I texted u in another video about my situation but i just have a question. Should I block my ex during no contact rule or leave it as I’m just not texting her but still active on snap and insta but just not texting her and checking her stories? Also every weekend we used to play Xbox together and last time we talked we wanted to play this weekend but u started the no contact rule so what if she invites me to a group chat or a game or joins my game when I play? Should I leave and ignore or play and talk ?
@BradBrowning

So basically your life together revolves around video games? Life is or will be taking you in two different directions at this stage. Watch this, too: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aHTEnIKFiNx8n7s&lc=Ugw4Ce3x9APUrYfz29N4AaABAg So whatever the case may be, act responsibly yet try not to take things too seriously for now since you may be in a period of growth and lots of changes, including preferences in attitude, personality, etc. Focus on your studies instead, all right? Take care!

Everytime I post something she is the first or one of the firsts to see it. Today I left the Xbox on while working and she texted me on Xbox asking if I wanted to play gta and Invited me to a party. 30 min later I was done with my stuff and hopped back online and texted her “ yeeee” to play games and I invited her and she joined and surprisingly she was really happy to see me and anything I said or did made her laugh to tears. She had to go take a shower later and when she left she said “ bye, thank you for playing with me” which I’ve never heard her say ever before. I said “ de nada, it was fun” and she quickly said bye and left. After a week of no contact. She also texted me 2 days ago but deleted the message before I woke up. At 00:02 am.

Hi brad i signed up for your mend the marriage system. My wife asked for a divorce 3 weeks ago n she had moved out of our house. I followed yr system n tried the no contact until just recently. She replied to my msgs almost immediately unlike b4. We do not have regular quarrels n try to always spend quality time together but she said she is unhappy with her life and that she feels that after 7 years together there is no change. She is not one to openly talk abt her feelings and i dont know when she is unhappy about something. She can also be stubborn sometimes. So my question is how do i get her to open up to me more?

Tell her you don't need the stuff back at this moment and that you'll contact her when the time comes. On your end, make sure to at least employ the 30-day "no contact" rule or more, given the lockdown everywhere. Use this time to focus more on yourself!

Hey brad what if my ex texts me “I’m sorry” after she broke up with me? What should I do?
@BradBrowning
@BradBrowning 4 жыл бұрын
Ignore it. If your ex continues to reach out to you, however, then this really depends on the frequency and nature of the contact from your ex and whether or not you've reached the phase where you're supposed to be talking again. The only exception is if your ex asks for you back and is sincere about it. If your ex continually messages you, then it’s important to put your ex’s messages into context, more so if this happened during the “no contact” phase. Is your ex trying to contact you about something really important, like an emergency, unpaid bills, or something equally urgent? These are reasons to respond, including messages where they get angry due to your lack of response. If not, and your ex is really just texting some useless random stuff and/or asses his/her power over you, then you can just ignore and continue on with the 30-day "no contact" rule. Use your discretion. Watch and follow the tips here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mJiyeGypZsuUmZo

Hi Brad, I currently live with my wife and she came to me about 2 weeks ago saying she doesn't feel a connection with us anymore and alot of other things and she needs space. I've been giving her space and am currently on day 10 of no contact, more like limited contact because we talk about important things only. Should I be doing no contact or trying to work on things? She hasn't blantly said she wants a divorce but it feels like it could be leaning that way.

I know this had nothing to do with this video but What if your ex girlfriend birthday is within those 30 day no contact period. Would I ruin no contact by wishing a happy birthday?
@BradBrowning
@BradBrowning 4 жыл бұрын
Well, you're not breaking any rules if you greet an ex on their birthday as long as you do it right. So yes, can send your ex a birthday greeting on her birthday, just make it quick and direct to the point, end the conversation first too because you're busy (and I'm sure your ex is, too) -- it helps if you really are, so hang out with friends, learn a new skill, etc. Also avoid drama like the plague and don’t get into an argument with your ex at any cost.

Brad Browning Thankyou so much for replying! On Saturday feb 22nd, my last words to him was “this is the last time I’ma let you disrespect me and hangup on me like I am nothing. I will cancel my flight to go see you.” (the flight was suppose to be on Tuesday feb 25th, I canceled it of course.) and I also said “ I hope you have lots of fun with yours boys and I hope it’s worth it.” After that he replied but I started no contact. I didn’t reply. Then Tuesday feb 25th he called, I didn’t answer. Wednesday the 26th, he used a text free number to call me. I picked up, Heard his voice talk, then I hung up right away. Then he used his own number to call me 5 times. Still I didn’t pick up. Then Thursday feb 27th, he messaged me and said “okay, I understand”. And then he left me alone. Today is feb 29th, and I am 7 days into no contact. What are my next steps? And how can I sign up for personal coaching? Also, the trip that I canceled to go see him, I changed it to Disneyland instead. Lol. So on the 25th when I was suppose to fly to go see him, I flew to Disney with my friends instead. I posted pictures on fb and he saw it as well. What are my next steps? And do you think he will try to contact me again?

It's all part of the process when one goes through a breakup. That's why you ought to give it enough time where there's no contact between you and your ex for at least 30 days. A wide array of different emotions coming from an ex is somewhat expected when a breakup is still fresh and this includes the likelihood of your ex giving you mixed signals. Watch this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iH-Zn5eAj5V9Y9k This is why I tell people to cut off contact for at least a month first and NOT deal with this ex. You both need to clear your minds first, all right? A breakup hurts both people in it regardless of who has done the breaking up. This is something I've discussed here, so watch it to learn a few tips to help you on how to go about it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z5ytYqyYqqt8fqc

If it's the former, this may help: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fH_EaaGPo9Wiqa8 but if it's the latter, then I'm sorry, but there's very little you can do here, especially if your spouse doesn't seem to be regretting their actions and asking to actively repair your marriage. Most of the time, a lot of people would move on, but a few would still fight for the marriage, so this all depends which side you're on and what your views are. But take into consideration about what I’ve mentioned here, too: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o2OahX-brrqgrck There is no right or wrong answer here because it is your marriage and it's personal to you. Make sense? Anyway men and women cheat for different reasons, but if you think your spouse is worth it, then try to see the roles that you BOTH played that led to all this mess and see once and for all if it can be resolved or not, okay?

Hey Brad, my gf broke up with me around 5-6 months ago but we were still very close and talked everyday and called almost everyday and went out on dates and did things and she told me she still loved me. Sadly she moved to Miami and all of a sudden she went cold and told me she lost feelings for me so I started the no contact rule 2 days ago but had to quickly break it on Snapchat because it was her Brother’s birthday so I wished him happy birthday. She thanked me for it and told me that she will tell him. I haven’t talked to her since and will wait until the no contact is done. The problem is that normally we used to play Xbox together every weekend and she still wanted to up to the last time we spoke to which I said: I want to play Xbox with u - and she replayed: me too. But during the no contact rule I can’t play with her or be in the same group chat so what if she sees me online and invites me or joins my game? Should I ignore or leave or stay and accept the invitation. Also right after the no contact rule is done she is coming back to see friend and family and her dad and I wanted to surprise her with a little gift and me so that we could go play arcade games because she looooves it and eat her favorite food. What do u think? There is more to the story for the details but it would be to type but would make the situation even more complicated but in general what do you think? If I break the no contact rule before she comes or we play together then the next few days surprise her? You are the expert about it.

Hey Brad, my wife has told me that she’s not in love with me and has felt this way for almost a year. It’s been 4 days now that I haven’t reached out to her and she’s been living with her sister. She doesn’t want to go to couples therapy but has been going to therapy for a while. Not sure what to do, I accept her feelings but I want to fight for her. Is the marriage salvageable?

These are my top two marriage videos which may help: y2u.be/WU0yhd3ADXU and y2u.be/W_vzHFqnasM but it's really challenging for me to know where to give you a headstart, knowing only so little of the situation... I understand what you're saying, but each person has his/her own reasons for why they either choose to get back together with an ex or let go totally. You can't speak for them because it's their life, not yours to decide. Granted, not all relationships are meant to be salvaged, especially abusive ones and/or one that involves numerous instances of infidelity, but some are worth saving. This all depends on what kind of relationship you have and if you decide to move on or fight for it. There is no wrong answer on whatever your decision is. :-) Anyway thanks for your input!

@BradBrowning
@BradBrowning 4 жыл бұрын
This is a very common issue which many people face, so I suggest you watch this vid coz I covered that here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/i6TTepSoeLyea68 Blocking you could just be your ex’s way of coping so I wouldn’t worry too much about it if I were you, at least not initially. If you stay blocked after months though, then that’s another story, especially if you have no other means of communication. More about that on here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/a4a3amV_d5qondU Anyway social media should be the least of your concerns. Focus on all three phases and your ex may naturally unblock you, in time, as you learn to rebuild that attraction and re-attract this ex back to your life.. Here are the basics of all three phases to getting an ex back: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5aqf4N4mdWhqas and social-media wise, here (but then again, don't let it become your sole focus) : kzbin.info/www/bejne/emKqoYVrgqajh80 Good luck!

How to save your marriage simple dont get married prevention is better than the cure..but if you are already married thank God the pain is over and save your life as life is not for ever
@BradBrowning
@BradBrowning 4 жыл бұрын
It's hard to explain it to someone who hasn't experienced that level of love yet because they always take the easy way out. You obviously haven't found someone who's worth all the pain yet, if that's your way of thinking right now. Marriage, relationships, they all come with a certain risk. What matters is finding the person who's worth all that and more.
