Your videos are really good! No annoying parts, and you don't try to act in a certain way. And the explanations are natural and clear.

Oh, I had understood the “de” used to link two nouns or ~na adjectives was more like the “te form” of the “desu/da” verb instead of the “de” particle. X de Y de Z desu “It’s X and it’s Y and it’s Z”, more naturally said “It’s X, Y and Z”.

Hi Haruka! I just started watching your Japanese lessons... 大好きです。I am an American male and lived in Japan twice for a total of 10 years. My Japanese level is something like "low intermediate." I am lacking vocabulary and don't study much. My bad. By the way, we don't say "grocery shop"... we say "grocery store." Do you live in America? Japan? How did you learn English? うまいじゃん!And I like your explanations... so in depth. 👍

Glad to hear that!!😊 I've been saying it wrong for a while! Oh no!😢 Thank you for the correction!! Really appreciate it.⭐ I studied in the U.S. for a year, including an internship in Disney World! I live in Quebec, so I am studying French now. For the Japanese vocab, you can watch my Vlog. Your level is intermediate, but still I believe lots of new vocab are there!😉😉

あけましておめでとう、Haruka! Thanks for your reply. Yeah, "shop" is used for small businesses, like a "gift shop." For larger places, we use "store,"... like a department store or grocery store." You're welcome. Wow, you live in Quebec. It must be so cold this time of year! 🥶 I grew up in Syracuse, NY, and our winters were brutal, sometimes the temperature was -25°(-31°C)! An internship in Disney World, eh? I know Japanese girls love Mickey Mouse 😂. I just finished tutoring a 4th grader who could speak French, English, and Japanese, so good luck studying French! -Rob@@harupakajapanese84

A great video but I really don’t like the use of non skippable adverts in videos. These are for much bigger channels and I would never use them. The 5 second adverts are much better.
