How to Say "I WANT" in Spanish WITHOUT saying QUIERO (2 Easy Expressions) Beginner/Intermediate

Today we look at 2 simple Spanish phrases to express "What you WANT" without using Querer, the literal Spanish translation.
This is a great way to add some variety to your Spanish & will make your conversations more engaging. I'd recommend using these after you're comfortable with using QUERER.

Excellent, thank you. How does the meaning of apetecer and antojarse differ? Also, I do not understand why the conjugation of apetecer does not agree with what I assume is the subject of the sentence, myself (apetezco)?

Thanks mate 👍 I'm from New Zealand but live in Australia & I don't have any Spanish ties etc. I've just been studying Spanish for the last 5 years & have made a few trips to Spain recently to practice/study. I'm still learning more myself with my teachers & I just like to pass on things I've learnt since I love the language but I also know first hand how hard it is to learn, when you live in a non Spanish speaking country
