Siobhan, you have leis instead of liom in the on screen text. Keep up the great work, love the channel !

How would you go about translating a song into Irish? Song lyrics can be weird and not make a lot of sense so how would you translate a song into another language?

You folks wrote is maith leis in the video, not is maith liom. Hehe Just a Tiny typo

How would you say god bless in Gaelic I’m looking to get it tattooed over my Celtic cross as my grandma always ended conversations with it please help
@emmalynch85086 жыл бұрын
Conrad Millar well “Dia duit” in irish literally means “god be with you” and also “hello”

Should that say Is maith liom a bheith ag seine ceoil? Or is leis actually pronounced “lyum”?
@emmalynch85086 жыл бұрын
StllrChick no if you’re saying I like to play music it would be liom. Leis is a completely different form

Leis or liom? It says Leis but I thought you pronounced it liom. Is that how you pronounce leis? Im so sorry but I am a beginner.
@emmalynch85086 жыл бұрын
C. Miller liom means me or I. So you’d say “is maith liom ceol” if you wanted to say i like music
@DennisManey6 жыл бұрын
I noticed you're saying "liom" but you have "leis" as the written sentence. You're speaking "I like to play music" but the written sentence says, "He likes to play music."
