Also a Southerner here, and a newbie to learning Irish. I must say that I love that you're using "y'all" for the plural of "you". I've been using DuoLingo as part of my learning and they do not differential between singular and plural you. It's frustrating.

Thank you! I’m glad it’s helpful! The “y’all” way of looking at it helps me too. ☺️☀️

@@irishwithrosie2007 You will, someday. Visit in summer, good weather, and August is the holiday season. It's a relatively easy walk to the top. No mountaineering skills required. Bring strong boots!😉

Hi Rosie, do you mainly concentrate on the Ulster dialect?
@irishwithrosie20072 жыл бұрын
Hi, Phil! 👋🏼 😃 Yes, I try to. But mostly just in pronunciation, and I also give some preference to Ulster vocab. ☀️ But, for now, I’m teaching myself (and sharing with y’all as go) Standard Irish grammar rules that you’d learn in school (which would vary from Ulster dialect grammar). 😊
