How do we Japanese people say "you"? There are so many ways! I'll show you in this video! #howtosayyouinjapanese #basicjapanese #learnjapanese #japanesegrammar
You probably learned that "you" = あなた in Japanese! But did you know that Japanese people don't really use あなた that often?
This video is a beginner Japanese video, and made for those of you studying for the JLPT N5.
Let me know if you have any questions in the comments! :)
Thank you always for watching!

I like using the honorific さん san for both male and females because it's easier for me, but what if I wanted to ask a question, what would you like to eat? Or do you guys want to hang out? Would I use their names, or is there something I can use without saying あなた anata

Can u ask ur boss name by using anata ?
@maxsjapanese
@maxsjapanese 6 ай бұрын
I would avoid calling your boss “anata” but instead just ask them “お名前(なまえ)は何(なん)ですか?” or “お名前(なまえ)を教えていただけますか?” Hope it helps!

貴様 another most brutal and impolite way to say you. Only if you coming with claims or blaming smb with smt serious. ... Another words if you say that equal to direct attack....

I understood your other videos.... but this was kinda a mess... I zoned out before half... too much randomness and jump cuts?? So I still dont know what to use properly. . Sorry, its probably just me

@maxsjapanese overall I like the other recent videos you made... I suppose its almost impossible though, to make a video for mostly 日本語 beginners, to not make it too long, yet contain all the important details too...perhaps just try to consider the tempo though when teaching, because when the information is new and we are learners, fast and quick cuts gets lost and missed. I think Yuko Sensei, from Smile Nihongo, has the perfect tempo for compression, Toniki Andi is way too fast and seems his regular followers are already knowledgeable and just showing off their skills, and JFZ George is in-between, but his videos are too long to get to the point... I like how you get right to the point though!
