The settings are ok, but you shouldn't scan in JPEG, because it's a lossy image format which means that you will lose some details and editing capabilities. A better format would be TIFF, then you can save a JPEG copy after editing it, if you need a JPEG

@HeartmadeDesign4 жыл бұрын

You have to scan the watercolor once, then flip it and scan it again. Then, in photoshop, you can rotate the flipped image to match the original image, and apply a 50% Overlay blending mode on it. This will delete the paper texture, because you are canceling out the cast shadows created by the scanner light on the paper surface.

what do you think if I scan my paiting with shoting from my phone then cleaning on the photoshop ? Which is more quality?
@HeartmadeDesign4 жыл бұрын
Sorry I just saw your question... Usually scanners have more quality than phones but with the fast growth of new technologies I can't be sure if that will change!
