As far as winter in NYC, I did live there and see delivery riders on scooters. BUT once it really snows and freezes over it's not that safe to ride regardless of how good the winter knobby tires are

Add some pictures please. RAM mount looks to be for a handle bar. Is your drink bag at your feet? And the battery might fit in the front storage locking compartment. Maybe it is a different Ram Mount. I have the same scoot and am ordering rear topcase and fly shield for it.

Great idea to use a external battery. Simple and no added cost, as we all have one already!

The ram mount is for handlebars but it grips perfectly on the mirror and is very very stable. In the video, you’ll see my drinkers carrier bag is hanging from the bag loop between my legs and also has a front pocket which is perfect for your external battery. Then I just run a usb cable up to my phone and will wrap the excess cable around the mount so there is not extra feet of usb cable flying around 😅
