If only this vid was out 5 years ago 😢. While developing my game I’d mostly play 1 on 1 and hone my individual play which only translated for 5 on 5s in me being efficient with the rock and isos. I struggled moving with out the ball and lacked iq on the offensive side of the court. Honestly I wish I had a vid like this years ago. 💯

honestly for cutting when your teammate is driving it might also be good to hang outside. I have a teammate who is exceptionally well at finishing and as soon as he drived today, most of the defense rushed to stop him, and he passed back to me for a open shot
@BBallFilmZone10 ай бұрын
Yeah that’s part of spacing and maintaining distance/making the passes easier for your teammates. It’s just abt reading the situation.

@@BBallFilmZone a way to score points when the paint is full
@BrianBennett-z3c10 ай бұрын
For cutting when your teammate is driving, wouldn’t that just create more traffic in the paint?
@BBallFilmZone10 ай бұрын
It can happen especially if you cut too early. If you cut before your teammate has penetrated then you’re just bringing more defenders to the paint to stop them. The key is to either to dive when you think your teammate is getting stopped. Or dive when your defender isn’t paying attention so that they don’t go in with you and clog it more.

plz can you help me i have scored 0 points for the whole basketball season at school what should i do 😢
@SplashItInFG3 ай бұрын
I see I used to be just like you I can help a bit First off get in your bag and sometimes it ok to be a bit of a ball hog your coach will not be mad if you ball hog a little but just don’t be an idiot and if you see your teammate is open and has a good look pass. But if you do not see open teammates you can’t score without getting in your bag a bit you gotta create space so just don’t be scared you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take. Be confident and move a lot off the ball because you can get a good look which will be a good pass for your teammate and a good shot for you. And keep looking for a shot your first option is if you have a shot, your second is if you have a pass, if you don’t have neither of those now you have to facilitate the offense whether its calling a play, if you run pg* or getting in your bag
