1:16- we kinda sort of did something similar to this when I played on my club team last year we would go to tourneys and study our opponents techniques during warmups so we can play to their strengths/weaknesses during the game

Their resources are a lot more than the lower level coaches can afford to have. Unless you have a ton of volunteers to help you, there's no way this can happen. Not only do they have multiple coaches, but they have statistics done by people that spend several hours a week getting all of this info together for them. I'm a numbers guy who loves this stuff, but it's unrealistic for me to try to do this much detail in the limited time i have. We do stats, but I believe in the "KISS" principle. Keep it simple stupid! The younger athletes understand some of this stuff, but ifvyou go too far, they become confused by the overload of information. Nevertheless, good info!

I deal with this too! this one girl is so cocky, but she has so much to work on. she is always saying rude stuff about me behind my back when the coach even told the whole team i was going to be playing in every rotation and not getting subbed. i don't understand if she's jealous or what it is.🤷🏽‍♀️

I’m 12 and 5’7 and I’ve wanted to be a hitter but I don’t think I’m going to grow a lot more. I’ll most likely stop at 5’9 but hitting is basically out of the picture so I’m thinking Libero or setter

Don’t let your height stop you from what position you want to play! It’s all about strength and getting a high vertical. You can do it

@@-natalie-8033 im 6 feet and spike at 11'2. It really depends on how dedicated you are. It's not impossible to be a hitter. For example, look at Yuji Nishida he's an insane opposite with just 6'1. Keep practicing m8

If u want to be a hitter, learn more about exercise science, improve your vert jump. Buy the Verticle Jump Bible, or look for a free pdf online (I have one, look on reddit& download it). Don’t just watch random youtube videos. Also quicktip: find the best side of the gym, make a analogy or whatever that makes you excited, attracted to workout. Increase your strength, knowledge, adopt a growth ( killer/dominant/some other terms people use) mindset. The journey continue but those are interesting&crucial first steps

Leo Zhang good Q! it can be effective, it just depends on their offense because if its fast or very spread it will make it difficult for the middles to set up that funnel right every time. Sidenote: libero should prioritize reading the hitter over reading their own blockers.

Elena Arnold we went off of stats from the last season, and then for new girls who were starting, we gathered what we knew based on friends who’ve seen them play... etc. but most of the time there were not a ton of freshman starters so we always had film from the last season on the sophs and juniors
