I know how hard it is to synchronize the two hands when you speed up. I have some problems with my left hand in this case but here we go ah aha. Thanks fam, you're good and even the best have to practice!

I couldn’t agree more!! Practice is definitely key. And in terms of just “feeling” the beat and rhythm, just like you said, some just got it! But I do believe it can be developed over time.

Nice demonstrate, I have to ask. Other than platter sizes. Can you tell that much of a difference when scratching on the Rane one compared to your tables?
@DJLiftOFF3 жыл бұрын
I plan to actually do a video on this exact subject. Honestly, it’s pretty similar but the djms9 mixer offers a better scratching experience when coupled with the Rane 12s for a few reasons. However, the Rane one is still a beat and very capable of getting the job done.

Hey brother ! I am new to the game! And am using the Pioneer DJ Rev1 - keen to understand your recommendation on settings within Serato for scratching (for general use like beatmixing etc)

Yo! I love the Rev 1 🙌🏾 - if you look through my videos, I have a serato settings video. You can follow it for just mixing even tho a part two is focused for scratching. The majority is for general mixing!

So as of now, I do videos using different equipment that I’ve actually purchased. In the future, I hope to somehow get sponsored or get equipment sent to me to review (huge goal of mine) but if I can get my hands on that Numark controller, I’ll definitely do a video with it!

Thanks for always sharing the knowledege. I',m looking to record my mix just like you do on these tutorial videos. How do you merge Serato screenshot with the video recording? Can you point me in the direction?
@DJLiftOFF3 жыл бұрын
You’re very welcome! So I record my screen using QuickTime player, and I also record my mixer audio (serato audio) in QuickTime at the same time. Then I record my actual Dj equipment separately, and in final cut, I just place the serato screen recording over the equipment footage and trim the screen recording so it fits at the top.

The secret to speed is not practicing a single tehnique faster and faster till you mess up. The secret is to practice to a metronome get good at one speed, then up the tempo, and get good at that, then up it again etc... Thats it.
